Got home after the service and nosed at the check sheet
They’d ticked the 2 yr 12k inspect the air filter section rather than put an R on the 4 yr 24k replace the air filter section
Pulled the filter for a nose and although very clean, wasn’t a new one. Emailed the service department to query and had an apology, come down and get it changed
It was with the service advisor when I got there so brought it home and fitted it myself
Dunno if a simple mistake or the filter looks clean, leave it in
I might actually have to get one of these, I have the suede one which is lovely, but the f***ing screw fell out somewhere and it is let's face it an odd size and I have no idea where to get a replacement.

I have a suede one. My screw also came unscrewed and fell out. Fortunately I found it have now super glued it. If I hadn’t found the screw I was going to use a little black tie lock and bodge it.

Interestingly on later cars it is no longer a hole.

Installed some Eibach 20mm wheel spacers. Now you can't take shelter under those wheel arches anymore. Visually there is still some room for more but I do run increased camber in the front. Also that would very likely lead to problems with the German authorities and it's not advisable from a technical perspective either which is why I choose the safe option. Still a huge improvement over my previous 7mm spacers let alone the stock setup.
I even have a bottle of threadlocker at home which is total overkill, but I forgot and I feel rather the idiot now.
It's probably in the same place that one dust cap is as well, which I left on my headlight when pumping up the tire and promptly forgot all about.

You put them over the original studs and they have new studs built-in that you use instead.
So yes this works with the stock setup no problem. It's why I bought those because I don't want the hassle that comes with replacing the OEM studs for longer ones.

And the splitter cable I ordered from Aliexpress finally arrived so I now have the full dual tone horn installed.Finally installed a new horn! Much more appropriate-sounding. No more avoiding using it

Your installs way neater than mine, reminds me I need to tidy mine up at some point 
First wash since march, excuse the driveway that needs de-weeding
, annoyingly was cloudy and cool when I started, need to give a quick once over later to get rid of some water marks when it cools down , but oh my a clean black GRY is beautiful

Thanks, but mine have universal plugs on them, and the horn should be going through a relay afterall, maybe ill just get a plug for the OEM horn plug end, but other than that all the wiring will be made from scratch, thanks though !
