GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

Shocked you all with news of changing cars a while ago. However traditionally it takes me a good while to let go so anyway Ive finally decided to put an ad up here.. Mod list quite long when bulleted up 👀

Most of you in UK, would appreciate any assistance of anyone bit closer to me with finding a new owner that shares the passsion for driving...

Just left my car for the first service at the stealership.
200eur for a check and oil change, and I provided the oil, is that correct?
Well, that is the Swedish labour hours making the most amount, filters gaskets etc, are the dealerships anyway.
For me first maintenance is about 145 eur, oil and filter included.

The oil should be around 50-100eur probably, and it should be an 1 hour job. There is no way the Labour hour is 100eur more expensive. I will have to check everything when I get the car back...

Straight from the horses mouth as to say, they have to do a lot of checks though. Swedish labour hour rate will be ofc much higher than in Latvia.

Thank you for the info, I will check what are they doing when I get the car back. If the labor hour is 170eur I will quit my job and become a mechanic there

We dont use Original Toyota oils but rather Valvoline for about 20 years now, no issues oil wise, and it is cheaper then oem.
I will also be filling Valvoline C6, as i got that recomended for my GR from Valvoline reps i contacted, saying they also use that oil for their Estonian rally car, with no issues.

Yes, but I provided the oil. I got some Ravenol DFE

I think your total will be without oil, the first quote i think you got is from Microcat with Dealer provided oil included.
I hope so, but they told me that was already without the oil. More news of it in the afternoon when I get the car back

Had the same service on mine last month but I used Toyota oil (I like living dangerously)..

Service including Oil, filter, salon filter and time was 267 euro with VAT (oil was 92 euro without VAT)

Just got the car, 200eur/h labour. 240eur total cost excluding the oil.
Heh, as i said, it is all labor, nice difference from wealthier countries like Sweden to poorer like Latvia.
Latvia median Income 1425 EUR month
Sweden median income is about 4200 eur ?

Valvoline oil is like 60 eur for 5 liters with VAT included, all the necessary specs

Dealers here use the Toyota 0W20 AFES (08880-83590 - out of the 208L drums), up to spec but there are better oils.
