GR Yaris What did you do to your GR Yaris today?

The snow melted once again here.. so I went for a pleasant asphalt drive this road continues like this for a while and it's just fantastic!

To add, as I suspected the understated Yaris name struck again. He saw it when he arrived and I suspected the jig was up but I think he just thought it was a body kit.

Had a gentle little drive to warm it up, found a nice little section, starting with a nice roundabout exit. Was recording by the time we got back in the second time. Then I caught him looking up GR Corolla's the next day

Fitted my new wheels!

I should of had these fitted for Japfest last week, but the tyre fitters rearranged my date and closed early for the day

Today i changed the second Time the Brake Pads (Front). This Time i choose the EBC Yellow. Have good Experiences with my last Car. The last Change to Toyota Brake Pads was 40.000Km ago.

Hehe...i try to brake as short and hard as possible. Every Time. Rest was about 1.7mm

Finally got around to Zoo-ing my car, more than a year after receiving the stickers! I like it so another will go on the other side.

Finally got one of those grab handle sunglasses holders you all seem to have



No more tucking them behind the phone holder for me!

Zero instructions with them though, nearly screwed up massively when one of the clips popped into the roof cavity luckily it stayed put and I was able to retrieve it with some needle nose pliers. Dread to think if it had slid down inside the a-pillar…

Just proud of the setup we have in Finland with one of our partners (Toyota service rep) - we have a dedicated mech who knows our club members in person and maintains all the GR Yaris visiting the shop (atm 10-15 cars). He's also a car enthusiast and does great job in servicing our cars. In comparsion to taking your car to a random, faceless big service company, this is quite an different approach and truly great what you usually cannot buy with money.

wow those look cool but based on the story you shared not sure if daring to install one.

Just did gearbox, transfer case and rear diff oil change. 4000km
Transfer case and rear diff were like that, oil was the same color.

The only thing that I am worried is i Filled 500ml to the transfer, 500ml to the rear diff, and none of them leaked from the filing plug. I just hope the car was a little tilted. Gearbox leaked a little bit before what I expected.
