I've thought about the Zunsport grilles but wonder what they'll look like in 18+ months. Let us know how you get on with them.

I also think they might look better if the lower honeycomb grille is also removed?

I had a set on my WRX STi back in 2014-2015, did well, they are Stainless steel, painted black, no reason why they shouldn't last long on the GRY as well. If it's stone chips you're thinking about, well that's what they are there for, to prevent small gravel wedging into the intercooler. If they get too badly chipped, it's a 10min job to dismantle and a couple of coats of paint to redo nicely.
I agree that the OEM plastic honeycomb grill shouldn't be there anymore, I thought about cutting it out, but then I like the light mods I do to be completely reversible in case I decide to sell one day. Have to be able to propose an OEM car at least.

It's still the only show in town? I get that it's functional I'm just not a big fan of the look I wish it had a better pattern or was fitted behind the existing plastic trim - although won't help with your hole.
The plastic grill is weak AF! A Pigeon broke mine... A PIGEON! And the bugger survived! Useless lol! ๐Ÿ˜…

If I had the balls I would just break away/trim the rest of the plastic grill off but I left it in case I could get the piece of plastic welded back in as it broke cleanly but meh. From a distance the grills do a good job of hiding the hole lol! They do grow on you! :giggle: (y)

Actually was looking for oil just now! Where can I find the ravenol DFE (seems to be the best) in Sweden at a nice price? Looked for some Castrol edge and motul, varying from 500-900kr (45-75eur) for 4L. Even considering to use motul 300V since it is in that range at around 900kr. @Onehp

My car have 200km only, want to change the oil filter this weekend to avoid having that new engine metal shave going all over. For that should I go with Toyota oem or hegst/mann is fine? (mainly warranty related, can Toyota complain about it?)

I order from https://www.ravenol-shop.de

That said, I have a different view on early engine oil changes. The oil filter will stop big shavings, and the microscopic ones let through actually help running in the engine (honing). Changing oil early stops that process.
In the past there were special running in oils with added salts and what not, that had to be changed at e.g. 1000km. But changing your oil at 1000km because of those historic practices would then almost be the equivalent of changing that special running-in oil at 100km, i.e. too early.

I do recommend to change the driveline oils at 1000-2000km after initial running in (hard), as they don't have any filters and there are then bigger shavings running about esp with Torsen (even though the plugs are magnetic so not that bad either)

PS: If running Motul 300V make sure it is the latest formulation that has low speed pre-ignition protection (LSPI tech)!

Today i installed the Vmax Delimiter from Gerlach Automotive.

Installed this Module - Plug n Play - means you are able to drive faster than 230 km/h.

It was a little tricky because sometimes the Engine Light in the Desk pops up with the Error Message P0500
It has no other Effect, the Module works like it should, but you have to delete the Error Message with a OBD
Plug and Software like Torque Pro or DashCommand.

Now, after the 5 Replacement (free) the Engine Light do not appear again.

so now we're all waiting to hear hoow fast the car actually is ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

Cracking drive out with Lotus pals through Notts, Rutland, Lincs finishing at great new cars and coffee place, Ignition, Stamford, Lincs. Recommended. I love that these places exist, for car folk to drive their cars to, to look at other people's cars and to talk about cars ๐Ÿ˜.
I had to pop back out to my car mid coffee, and a young bunch of lads were taking photos of the GR rather than the Lotus surrounding it ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Woke up and drove home from this place in Finnskogen, Norway. We were gifted a stay here for Christmas. Fun experience! Watched a moose wandering about outside during the morning hours.

Drive home was a bit challenging, lots of slush on the roads, but had the right tool for the job!
