Hey,
As I do not care about lap times (I do simracing for this) and am afraid of the cost of trackday, be it consumable-wise or car wear - wise, I was wondering about doing wet drift days. I have the chance to have really good tarmac road close to my home where you can push a bit which help extinguishing my hunger for tarmac hooning.
During those wet trackday, they put a ton of water on the track and you are free to drift the car as much you want during 20 min session.
My GR is fully standard and I'd like to keep it like this.
If I want to take part in a wet day, what should I prepare ? Can I go with my OEM tyres which are at half-wear ? Do I need to modify something/Budget something except tyre wear and fuel ?
Is it really a lot easier on the car as I read on the web ?
I love to drift the car in the mud but my opportunities are quite limited and I can't really try crazy drift where I do it. The most I can do is short 1st / 2nd gear drift and you can't really train transition or anything ...
