I’ve searched but can’t find much

Can you tell me the easy places and weight saved if known, I still want a usuable car and not a stripped out race car, also not costing loads of money

Easy things I though of is the battery as it huge
Rear seats

Battery.
Change seats for lightweight ones tho struggle to use back seats with fixed back buckets

A 5k run each day and a big poop before you go out 😁

Sorry, a bit of a running joke with my bike racing mates
This is probably the best way, I need to shed about 20kg reckon that’s a few tenths off the 0-60.

Titanium exhaust should save 6kg on the GPF back and maybe a kilo or two on the OPF delete. But the cost of a titanium exhaust is about as much as doing a rear seat delete and lithium battery combined.

Lighter wheels are possible but you’re looking at max 2kg all round but the benefits of reducing unsprung mass can be quite significant. Lighter brake discs too. Pumaspeed do a front brake disc kit that they claim saves 1.75kg per corner - similar price as a lithium battery.

Thanks, I’ve just found a battery thread and apparently changing the battery can cause issues and void the warranty against possible electrical damage

I put lithium battery in and I'm sure the car feels lighter 😃 (prob imagining it though)

My last car had a carbon prop shaft so I can't help but wonder how much that would save on the Yaris 🤔 would cut down rotational mass by quite a lot I'd imagine.

Yes - i felt it too!

Prop shaft 10-15kg? Do the carbon ones last?

Rear seat delete and race battery + round about 20l fuel.....

Ok and I have no water in the wiper tank. :D

I find running with no brake pad material or tire tread left helps, but also always running with hardly any fuel left. Keeps my wallet light. 👍
