GR86 UK Standard Equipment

Correct as of today

Maybe not entirely correct
It also says the manual doesn't have cruise control...

Ducktail spoiler is now included??

No cause for complaint for the omission of the parking sensors and auto dimming rear view IF that was the case.

I would assume it would have but the pdf @GrayBoth put up just now suggests otherwise - hence my question. (y)
I'm just checking with product - seems this might be, and rightly so pointed out.... slightly incorrect. That will teach me to post something without reading it all the way through! As soon as I know more I'll update you

It does seem like there is a lot of confusion on the spec as it keeps changing. I understand that Toyota are trying to hit a cost point but the fact we won’t see the cars for a while and it’s a bit of a guess as to what equipment we will get in the future is annoying.
If they didn’t give us a spec list at the start, we’d have been fine but to set out what we get (with plenty of evidence on this forum) then slowly change things for cheaper options, it’s not great.

Totally agree, I really want my car but it doesn't seem unreasonable to know when we put down our deposits on the 20th April what the UK spec will be and make our decision based on that. I'd add to that the pearlescent paint which may in fact be flat based on some of the feedback. Seems a lot to pay £900+ for a flat colour finish.

I doubt the spec. is actually changing as some cars have already been shipped. Seems more likely to me that they're just having issues getting their sales info correct.

I based my colour choice on the fact it was described as pearlescent and as you say if it turns out to be a solid colour I will not be too happy!

This might help with colours

White and Sapphire are the only true pearlescents. Red and electric blue are special 3 stage paints built up from two different colour layers that give them a more interesting appearance under different lighting conditions and gives different hues on the curved body panels. I think the extra cost of applying this for Toyota would be similar to pearlescent hence the extra cost that has been applied.

In regards the other specs, from what I can see, no parking sensors, though I think these are a bit ugly and not needed if you have a reversing camera. No extra ducktail, but the boot spoiler does flair up a bit already as per the brz and some already refer to the is as a ducktail hence the confusion. Personally I think the extra stuck on bit is a bit meh, but each to their own. Standard cruise on the manual, adaptive on the auto.
