After managing to order a car (first thinking I had at a dealer, then actually doing it myself online), I actually managed to find the full UK standard equipment for the GR86. One thing that I spotted, that I thought we weren't getting in the UK, is rear parking sensors, so that's good news for all of us that have had them on our cars for many years and sort of take them for granted.

Headlight cleaners were new to me, I don't see where they live. No cut outs or visible jets, I don't think that's correct.

Not that easy to spot them, but I think you can see them the most on the Ice Silver car in the configurator:

Good Spot! I didn't see them on all the other online images but I'm guessing that's because they aren't mandatory in other markets (aka USA)

Has anyone figured out if anything other than the premium sound system and the duckbill spoiler are missing from the UK spec?

You won’t get the red interior trim inserts (good!!)

I haven’t seen it mentioned but it’s welcome to see Apple CarPlay/Android Auto take the place of a built in sat nav 😁.

Never used the Toyota sat nav in the CEOs C-HR , I‘ve even converted her to Waze , she won’t drive without it now 👍😎

Does anyone know what the official boot size is? Can't see this listed on the website.

The “Touch n Go” sat nav in my ‘16 GT86 is wilfully slow and the maps are badly out of date now, and Waze is an absolute gem.

@AndyRC
I mentioned the rear parking sensors to Toyota U.K. and they said that they believed the U.K. cars wouldn’t have them
I therefore sent them my order PDF which, like you show above, clearly says it does.
They are investigating still.

Welcome. Have I Got you on the order list 🤔 Definitely conflicting information on this from Toyota U.K. on this issue , along with all the other conflicting information 🤣

I have seen a few comments in the "upgrades" thread about the sound system, is it really that pants? Anyone have experience of a GT86 and how good/bad that is? I have been spoilt by the system in the MX5 which for standard is pretty good - Bose, 9 speakers, subwoofer and digital amp in something the size of a biscuit tin, bangin'!🔊

I noticed on a video that the car appears to have a switch for a heated front screen. I can't see it listed in the specs though. Have I missed it or do we reckon the switch is just to direct the air con at the screen?

Really like a heated screen, much less faffing in winter.
