Yep I updated my current insurance (admiral) and swapped the car on the policy since I'm almost ticking over another no claims so didnt want to cancel and start again. The section for modifications specifically mentioned 'retailer fitted extra's' so I added the spoiler, there was no option for mudguards or wind deflectors though

Yeah I’ve bolted it down to the concrete pad on every leg. It’s not a thick pad but it will do. I plan on making improvements over time.

This has reminded me to get in contact with my bank before my payment is requested. Sale of old car, payment to finance company, then payment to Toyota is sure to flag something up.

Chase were fantastic but awkward, they couldn’t understand why I was paying BACS not a card and asked if Toyota GB were reputable

However, after some of the cock ups with other customers I think they had grounds to ask.

My dealer has asked I pay and get everything squared away asap so that nothing holds up handover and they will try turn around asap when it arrives so

I had similar with HSBC but sorted it by sending from 2 different accounts. The HSBC limit is £25k per account. Seems odd that you can circumvent the limit so easily.
