Just a quick update on the progress of my order (which was confirmed at 10:22am on the 20th April 2022) - I received an email from Toyota Online Retail at 11:00pm last night advising me that my GR86 has moved to the Left the Factory stage on the Vehicle Order Tracker and have therefore changed my vote in Post #1 at the beginning of this thread to reflect that.
 
Ah so the emails of status change are working then. The last one I had was left factory at 11pm but never got one when it got here or moved to Derby but put it down to the site and app being pretty borked.

I never got one for left the factory, just got going into build. Seems hit and miss
 
My 10:54am order 'Left The Factory' - email at 6pm last night. Any idea how long transit etc takes? Am I looking at Christmas for delivery now?

It's about 30 days to get from Japan to the UK, so you won't see any further updates for about a month when it will arrive in Portbury (In Transit).

“Left the factory” means it’s on a ship. Generally one that left about 24 hours previous to you getting the notification. It’ll be sailing from Nagoya port in Japan.

How does this time thing actually work? My order was confirmed at 10:33 and it's still 'Processing' . . .

My order was even earlier - 10:25am, and still showing as processing.
Are you Red Manual by any chance?
Just sent an (angry) email to the manufacturer.

Folks it doesn't matter if someone with a later order time has had their car built before yours, they'll all end up in the same car park next to the A50 with Del Boy Toyota saying "this time next month you'll have your cars" for the next couple of years.
