I can see the number 61 don’t know who’s has escaped to the dealer but no idea who they belong to 🤔

Can the Admins not see who has placed each vote in the poll? Otherwise we will need to capture the info from everyone unless they have updated it in their signatures or one of the other threads; is it important or just of interest?

A couple of quick questions for my fellow prospective '86 owners.

Are people you know (friends, family, work colleagues) still asking you when are you getting your car?

And if so, what are you telling them?

I'm thinking of saying "oh shit, I KNEW I'd forgotten something, must dash!" before walking away at speed.
 
I tell them it's on the boat.

I've not told that many people, only close friends, guys in my office know as I'll need the time for when it does. Very few family know as some won't like it, they always find fault and love telling me how I should spend MY money. They can get in the sea.

Only question I get asked is when can we test the new Alpha suv 🤔 Must get out more 😂😂😂

Haven't told anyone yet, so that it will come out of the (electric) blue when it turns up. Hoping to get a cheap runaround to keep me going for 12 months until then so it will be more of a surprise since they will think I am potless driving around in a shed for a year :ROFLMAO:
 
Most people who know anything about cars know there are massive delivery delays, anyone else has no idea what an 86 is anyway

A guy in work has GRY on order so he is also in limbo when his will arrive, seeing whose will arrive first, most others have stopped asking as I told them I don't know anymore.
 
Updated to Arrived in Portbury, although for all we know the cars may be circulating back and forth between the UK and Japan until Toyota make a decision on what to do with them.

Kind of: I saw it on Instagram, because the dealer made a post about it (that's how I knew it had arrived), but since it's an hour away from where I leave, and I've been quite busy lately, I haven't seen it irl yet...
 
Got an email last night (!) to say my car had entered build!
The app now just says “Contact Retailer” 🤔🤔

Anyone else get a mail last night?

Awesome, glad it's moving along slowly. What time was your order confirmation for reference?

The app is showing contact retailer for everyone, but the website should tell you the correct status.
