Sorry for not setting up a twitch stream for the drive home.

Handover was really simple, just had to fill out a digital form about the pdi and agree everything was fine. They gave me the Issho toy, a gazroo racing hat and a nice bamboo box for the keys.

The drive home was great was very cautious as I got pulled out on twice at roundabouts. But still managed to have fun.


And yes floor mats were included.

Nice one. Decided to keep the wrap on? Presumably it comes off easy enough. Still 50-50 about leaving it on or not just in case there's an issue underneath. There shouldn't be but don't want to give them an excuse and blame me

My dealership asked if I wanted them to leave it on. I was going to, but then I thought, I don't want to overfill my recycling bins at home :D
Maybe if it was summer, I'd leave it on for the novelty; but as we're now in the depths of winter, I just want to get it home and washed and be outside as little as possible.

I’m taking it for a ‘New car’ detail and ceramic coating and they asked me to ask for it still wrapped up.

How many miles on the odo when you got it? Any sticky lines/marks where the film was, or did you let them wash it first?

Edit :- missed read, you left the wrap on…

Congrats to all who received their cars already!
I went online to check my stats and I noticed it asked me to pay the full amount for progress to happen. I have not received any emails. Are we supposed to check the my Toyota portal? So far I relied on their emails.
 
You should get an email "Your GR86 Manual order | Payment is due | Ref: ORCAxxxxxxx" which directs you to My Toyota.
