We should definitely count it as first official forum gatheringAt this rate Derby will have half of all the UK GR86's all in their car park
First 1k miles? First 5k miles? We now have over 100 cars in the stages between being built and in Derby, this is quite a large proportion of our answers. I am sure this is skewed considerably as the forum members are more likely to be early orderers and those expecting later deliveries may be less likely to complete the survey. However the actual number is likely to be considerably higher, possibly double the results we are seeing.
It would be really helpful if any non UK forum members removed their votes please to improve the quality of this data, and could everyone update their votes if you have had any recent notifications?
Now that we are hopefully going to see some cars released in the near future does anyone have any suggestions for additional post delivery milestones that we could track?
Some of us, would like a build date- so don’t be greedyJust a confirmed delivery date given would be nice.

Know how you feel. Luckily I don't rely on a car these days, but I still didn't expect to be without for this long. It would actually be easier to bear if the car wasn't built yet, but knowing its built and just sitting in a car park in Derby without any update on when it will be delivered is a kicker. Not even convinced I'll have it before Christmas now.Starting to feel my whole year has been dominated by the GR86. Order in April, all that initial excitement. Then booking leave for when it could arrive but didn't so wasted a lot of it. Holding back on other purchases, some which I really should've done but with prices as they are I'll have to put off for longer. Delay after delay without reason and we still don't have a fixed date. There's places I want to go and people I need to see but can't until it turns up.
I know it will be good. Have to keep telling myself that. There is nothing else I'd want that I can justify the spend on. I've said before it's a keeper and I still think it will be.
Same, I'm not convinced we will either and there's no reason why we should still be waiting. Seeing journos having fun in them makes it even worse.Know how you feel. First to wash and polish, first to receive a compliment at a petrol station, first to be cut up by an angry bitter underachieving small man in a terrible MPV, first to be in receipt of positive feedback from teenagers on bikes using street speak, first to give their car a name (already done by @Lindylou13 if I recall)...First to mod, first to cross a border, first to track, first to prang![]()
One of our continental friends, a journo or a master troll.Sorry if it was already asked - but who is that one person who received the car according to the poll?

After a '14 then a '19 GT86, the GR86 is the natural next step!Must be a Linda thing… 1st GT 86 was Gladys, 2nd GT 86 was Gertrude… the GR is Georgia… as she is currently on the Georgia Highway, just passing Gibraltar tonight.
As a long time 86 owner, how much have you enjoyed each one, what did you like more about the face-lift version and what improvements do you hope the GR will give you over them?Must be a Linda thing… 1st GT 86 was Gladys, 2nd GT 86 was Gertrude… the GR is Georgia… as she is currently on the Georgia Highway, just passing Gibraltar tonight.
Good questions, I'd be interested to hear too (as a previous GT86 owner). As a long time 86 owner, how much have you enjoyed each one, what did you like more about the face-lift version and what improvements do you hope the GR will give you over them?
