Would surprise me if it wasn't. After all this was apparently designed as a race car first.

Will be interesting to see under which brand it will be sold. The Lexus performance cars all leaned more into luxury and comfort than outright performance. The LFA being the only 500 car strong exception to that.

Well Toyota put up this teaser poster up on the Fuji Speedway and it shows the car wearing the GR badge just like it should

Looks very wide and low. Available for 2027, the question around how they are pricing this remains, but you've got to think it's going to be well above the Supra price point.

I'm certainly interested as a possible replacement for my 2019 Supra while keeping the Yaris for daily and winter duties.

Yeah you can definitely see the AMG influence in the styling as well as Dodge Viper vibes. I’m light years from ever contemplating one and never will be able to, but the road car is ripe for a spoiler for sure.
