Yay or Nay

Love the Advans. The ride height, less so. 265 seems extraordinarily wide, and will add a lot of unsprung weight. Would expect that it may feel somewhat over tyred:

Far too low, no clearance, the suspension to cope with this set up would need to be so hard to deal with any undulation on a road surface. Be careful you may well end up with a F1 Mercedes car that feels like it's driving on a cattle grid

I've bought two lowered cars in the fairly recent past, both left the factory already lower than the standard offerings because they were the GTi/VRS/MSpurt........... etc models, and a previous owner had bolted aftermarket suspension on.
They both handled superbly, on billiard table smooth roads, so here in the UK almost nowhere :-(
They were also both teeth jatteringly hard riding, very prone to grounding on any sort of cambered country lane, and don't even ask about speed bumps!

I sold the first to buy the second and put the standard VRS set up on it in fairly short order, transformed for the better!

My GR Four's ride height is staying where it is, even if I do fit a high quality suspension upgrade ;-)

Colour clashes with the red accents on the car. OE wheel design is nicer. Car looks like it’s been sat on by a hippo, and the hippo is still there, just has a cloaking device.

Other than that, they’re great.
