No, I haven't crashed my car.

But browsing ebay this morning for GR86-related things, I found what appears to be the UK's first totalled GR86, as almost every usable part is on sale with this seller.

Having engaged my detective mode, the pictures seem to depict a UK-spec Magnetite Gray GR86, fitted with the optional ducktail spoiler and a Scottish license plate.

The damage seems to have occurred to the front passenger side, and whilst the engine bay remains mostly intact, the windscreen and bits of trim are totally battered. Some damage also occured to the driver's rear quarter, so this must had been quite an accident.

For anyone looking for spare parts:

If it's anyone on this forum, I hope you're alright and managed to replace your car with one from the new allocation.

I wonder if the accident happened before my insurance renewal, that would explain some of the premium increases...

Looking at the damage on that it seems consistent with a fight with the anti submarine bar on the back of a HGV trailer was lost rather than an initial D related cock up.

Tailgating a lorry on a test drive?

It is (or was at some point) the Snows Waterlooville's demo car.

Are dealers still offering test drives?

If you haven't tried the airbags out can you really say it was a thorough test drive?

I wondered what had happened to Snows Waterlooville demo car, I assumed they’d sold it. Here’s a picture in happier times when I took it out…
