GR86 The 7,706 miles effect

Drove my car today and it felt considerably punchier than previously. I've been using it a fair bit over the last month so it's not because I haven't driven it. I tend to use the same fuel.

I remember my old GT86 all of a sudden felt quite a bit more responsive once I'd got to 9-10k miles (like the GR I had it from new). The mileage on my GR was 7,706 this morning.

Anyone else noticed anything similar? My car is totally standard. I'd be interested to hear from higher-mileage users than me (which is probably nearly everyone).

Good to hear. At ~2,600 miles mine feels fairly lively for the modest stated power output. I’ll update my experience when I hit that mileage although don’t hold your breath for the post, at the current rate it’ll likely be around 2030.
