Finally getting some 17" wheels sorted for the car.
I found a cheap set of wheels on ebay (£130) but have then spend £200 + on spacers and spigot rings. I've ordered Rainsport 5 tyres to go on them, as I've used the tyre on many cars without a problem. Tyres should be fitted tomorrow, then I can fit the whole lot to the car and no longer worry about scratching the BBS wheels. These will probably end up as my winter wheels.

Ahead of schedule, tyres fitted to the wheels today and all wheels on the car.

I was thinking of using these wheels for my winter tyres, once I'm happy with them but even though they were cheap, I may just have sensors fitted and keep them for summer tyres. :)

Not my style at all but if you like them go for it. If anything, adds to the sleeper appeal.

The ride feels much better but that could be the placebo effect of spending money I didn't need to. 🤭

They will be softer. I had 18s on the CH-R and 17s for winter. The difference with more rubber and air is noticable.
I wouldn't run them all year as I think they look a bit cheap and out of character for the aggressive Gry - sorry!
They will be good as winters and people will know that is why they are on.
