Maybe a elementary question but do you think when dealers call saying your car is coming and expected ______, they will offer any extra stuff at a additional cost? I am thinking that may be a good thing?

I am guessing they will try and upsell the usual dealer offerings, Autoglym supguard (or whatever it is called now), dashcams, alloy wheel insurance, smart repair insurance, gap insurance. My view is if you wanted all of those things you are better off finding them separately and not paying the dealer margin on top. The only difference might be if you don't fancy trying to install dashcams or slap on some fancy polish yourself.

When I tried to order a car before it was available they quoted me for all of these and even threw in a line about installing dashcams myself might even invalidate the warranty. Should have tried to verify that with TUK while I was sat there in front of him.:cautious:

Thanks pal. I would take a dash cam from them. Truth is I would want top end camera and they will sell medium style. Thanks for info
