Is it an import? Maybe reach out to Whifbitz or Tegiwa as they’ve sold a few on our shores.

Did you have any luck with this?
I've got one on the way soon and want to try have everything prepped to make the IVA as simple as possible

Hi @geoffxb, did you find a way to change from km/h to mph?
I'll need to import my Gen2 DAT to the UK soon (from Italy), and I'm stuck like you, with settings unable to do anything to change meter units.
Do Toyota can unlock this someway?
It would be really unbelievable that it can be done from mph to kmh on UK cars, and not the opposite on EU cars...

I think it’s a dash change from speaking to importers. Crazy!

That would be really insane... in a time when all is done through software, Toyota can't unlock the electronic toggle kmh/mph upon a founded need like importing my personal car to another country?
Even if they themselves first locked it?
I know that some electronic settings can be modified just by Toyota workshops, I warmly hope this is the case.
Or I will try the way of a added speedometer, if it'd be compliant with IVA requirements.
 
You should be able to change the spedometer from MPH to KPH via the dash.
 
...Toyota doing that is so retarded that I struggle to believe that it is true. Like, it costs them money and introduces risk into their business model just to prevent certain regions from changing the speedometer.
