do you have one for the non slider version?
We don’t have one yet, we are waiting on the one from another member who is making a video of the install with Tegiwa, we did a deal with them to do this and I’m pretty sure the lads have relayed this info and we’re hoping it will be out in the next week or so

It’s very straight forward of your mechanically minded and familiar with fitting seats if your not we do have dealers who offer fitting up and down the country, Demon Tweeks, Tegiwa, CP Performance and in the south All Motion Tuning and Airtek all offer fitting.

There is also lots of content on Google and YouTube showing how to remove the seat and strip it down if you want to have a go at it your self.

if you can’t figure it out from the content online and your own mechanical experience and know how, I would defiantly look at booking it in with a tuner or one of the dealers listed as it is a fiddly job and if it’s your first rodeo it will be time consuming and there are small plastic parts, trims and electrical plugs to remove that can be tricky, break easy etcc etcc

I’ve had my car a couple of months now and as far as I’m concerned all is fine. I’m 6’ (1.83m) and have no issues with seat height. Also took my wife out in it for the first time yesterday (she’s 5’9”, 1.75m) and asked her what she thought about the seat, said it was nice, very comfy and she didn’t look high up at all. Must admit I’m genuinely confused about this supposed problem?

Links don’t work.

I fitted the OEM slider lowering kit for the GRY today. All in all pretty easy to do. Just a couple of points:
  • On the top plate I had to slot a couple of the holes as they didn't line up to the slider bolts that normally go into the seat. Specifically the inner four seem pre drilled a couple of mm too far towards the centre of the plate.
  • Although there are enough washers for top and bottom of the M10 bolts I decided not to put them on the bolt side and only on the nut side. Otherwise the bolt head starts to interfere with the slider as it goes over top.
  • Removing the OEM seat slider handle by twisting the slider seemed wrong. Much easier to use a screwdriver to lift up the spring catch.
  • Bolting the lower plate down in the car causes the rear to get a bit hung up on the thick carpet on and between the towers. Should probably trim the carpet back but I didn't fancy doing that. Not ideal but it's secure.
  • I'll have to keep an eye on the wiring harness as you have to not use the original cable holding positions to get the full range of movement. Also had to remove the white spare plug shell to allow the seat to go all the way down.
Does what it's supposed to do so I'm pleased. Seems like a good product other than my issue with the drilled hole alignment.

Great feedback. Hopefully @SW Motorsports will look to address these issues.

Agree with all of your points (y) I still need to remove the extra washers as currently not getting the full range of movement but an easy fix once I get round to it. Had the same with the holes not lining up but easily sorted aswell...

How do you remove the spare white plug shell, I've been trying this morning without removing the seat again but guessing its a screwdriver at the back of it to release?

I've only just seen this thread and thought I'd got myself a deal personally with a drivers and passenger for £500 but its the same price with the discount code applied :ROFLMAO:

Happy with mine, it definitely makes you feel lower and more 'snug' in the car 👌

You can use a screwdriver in the slot at the top to release the catch. It was pretty fiddly.

The screws are above, threading down into the white plastic

Hi All thanks for the feedback!

We are addressing the issue with the holes in the top plate not lining up with the slider bolts. We are going to elongate the holes to accommodate the differences in cars.

As for the bolts catching to allow full forward & backwards sliding we have some new bolts which i can send out to customers who have already received there kits from us

Please drop me a PM with your shipping details and order numbers and i can get these sent out ASAP!

Anymore feedback would be great and fitted photos so we can address further issues if they arise.

Thanks, Brett

So, I don't have to cut or modify the seat at all?

In Australia there's an amp under the drivers seat, not sure of it's the same in UK but I just want to make sure it clears the amp?

Can't help with the amp but no, you don't have to cut the seat. There's a white plastic bracket that needs to be removed if you want to lower it further than a certain amount but that's easy enough.
