Now that my car is fully run in and have some time to drive the car a bit more, I've noticed a few strange quirks with the engine... Anyone seen these as well?
1. Strange 'wooshing' sound when lifting off the throttle at low RPM; maybe between 2.5-4k. Last time i checked our cars are naturally aspirated so it can't be a blow off valve!
2. Oscillation when accelerating through about 2.5-3k rpm. This is particularly noticeable in 2nd gear but sometimes even in 3rd. It's different from the type of driveline oscillation that you can excite when tipping in/out too aggressively as this is happening on a steady throttle....
3. Slight rattling sound when getting above 7k... Not sure if that's anything to be worried about?
Any thoughts? My car was delivered late 22 with about 1600 miles on the clock now if that makes any difference!
