After much hunting around, I've sourced a 17" space saver wheel from an Avensis with the correct PCD & centre bore to match the GR (which fits over the brakes on the rear perfectly). Be aware that not all Avensis 17" wheels are the same & some that have a PCD 5x100 (which won't fit) & are incorrectly being advertised as 5x114.3 (PCD needed for the GR).
Also, I picked up a genuine Toyota jack (which fits in the boot with a little bit of modification) & a wheel bag. The wheel sits snugly in the footwell behind the passenger seat & will come with me on any long journeys 👍
I only ever intend to use this as a last resort and it will only fit on the rear of the car, as will not fit over the front brakes. There are 18" options available & I know that some people have gone for an I30N spare wheel, but breakers seem to have latched on to this & have hiked the prices.

Good info, defo good to post this.

I have the i30n wheel for mine. I also have a bag, which looks just like yours.

One thing of note is that the i30n uses a different shaped wheel nut so if anyone goes that route you need those as well - get 21mm so you can use the same brace that fits the OEM GRY nuts.

Info about my wheel and the nuts is in my 'oh too easy car' thread.

One thing that is great about the i30n wheel is that it fits on the front, many other spare wheels dont clear our brakes.

This is DeanoC's pic, Im sure he wont mind me sharing it.
