GR Yaris Ships in Transit

Finally got a delivery date of 18th January (June 2021 order) any idea of where it will be? ie on a boat/awaiting one etc. Thanks

No, missed out as my own July 9th order was after the cut-off date so unfortunately its a cxncexlxtxxn and I havent

Just wondered if others on here have a similar date. It seems its 2-3 weeks from port to dealer so it should be on a boat duehere around New year

I have been given a date of 19th of Jan, but the car is in portbury already so not sure of where things are at to be honest :/

seeking advice:
21 Oct build date but delivery was only last week 12 Dec ‘22. Is it normal to take 7 weeks to ship (Australia)?

VIN last 6-digits: 22018

Hey lads,

Been trying to figure out how to track my ship but cant get the info anywhere I look. Could someone help me please?
I got the notification that it left the factory on 22nd december, the next step should be ”in transit” in Belgium. The car is coming to Finland ultimately.

Could someone point me in the right direction how could I figure out which ship it could be on and how it could be tracked?

Thanks a ton, way too excitef over here after 14 months of waiting.

If everything went well, your car should be on the Grand Victory, which is now at the Zeebrugge Toyota terminal getting unloaded. They will keep the car there for a few days until a Kess operated vessel, Elbe Highway, arrives on 27.01 and takes it to Malmö by 29.01 for a week or so. You should get an update in your app around the time the car hits Malmö.
If your luck will have it should be on the Danube Highway on 05.02 heading to Hanko by 08.02, though some rav4 owners have said that it can be at Malmö for weeks. You can find the Kess shipping schedule by searching for it on Google if you want to take a gander at it.

thanks for the information! I will keep an eye on these vessels! You seem like a magician knowing all this. Working for Toyota or a shipping company?

You can kinda reverse engineer a lot of it based on generally free tools. There is a thread here by Brasso which explains how to track ships. For example, if you got a notification on the 22nd it probably left Nagoya on the 19th or 20th December. Most tools expect you to pay for that historical information, but some ports have public manifests so you can reverse engineer when it left a location etc... all the GR's have been on 200x32 WxL dimensions... lots of ways to work things out, but the thread is the best source of info on how to track.

Is this a similar route for cars heading to Estonia?

I believe so, Hanko and Paldiski use the same ship route, with the same exact schedule.

Thank

Just bored from waiting for mine.

Hello Guys, New member here. :)

I'm following your journeys for quite a time now and finally decided to join the "fun".

I've ordered my Gr Yaris back in Decembre 2021 in Luxembourg. And like most of you I'm waiting ever since.

Unfortunately the MyT app doesn't work here for built and shipments update. Supposely Toyota BeneLux never moved their a*** to get it to work. (Read that in a seperate threat here.)

Since I'm waiting for a year now and my dealer doesn't tell me sh*** I've decided to start tracking ships in order to hopefully find an approx. arrival date.

I've read this forum thread a few times now, but still have one or another question.

Are GR Yaris only shipped by RORO's (not Vehicle carriers)?

Delivery port must be Zeebrugge fot BeNeLux orders.

If I'm not wrong there are currently only 2 RORO's that could have GR Yaris on it:
1) Grand Legacy (docking tomorrow in Bristol)
2) Grand Venus (expected arrival in Bristol 24th March)

I assume that's "December 21", otherwise you have a very long wait...

Been checking these ships and you seem to be quite accurate. Question though, why would they unload it from the elbe highway? Its a vessel that also goes. To Hanki via Tallin… would not really make sense for them to offload and onload to another vessel that goes the same direction…

Malmö is the hub for Toyota logistics in Northern Europe, I'd presume that they do checks/paperwork/accessories there that aren't country specific and get them back on the route.

So far your estimates were more or less correct. I got a notification on the 30th that it was in Zeebrugge, so if I understood correctly I got the notification at the time it was already supposed to be in Malmö. Should I assume correctly that I will not get further updates (like when it arrives to Malmö or Hanko) until it is at the dealer and ready to be picked up? The Danube Highway now arrived to Hanko and I am super excited that it may be on it, would be nice to somehow figure it out (I could also just drive there, but I guess that would yield me a big fat nothing :D ) if it was actually now in the country.
These past 14 months were killing me, almost cancelled my order multiple times but did hang in there.

Thanks

More sharks driving or diving around in luxury fast car's, that's all we need.

If this post has offended anyone then it's about time I scaled fins down.

After almost two years with very little news from my dealer, I am now getting more information than I expected, even the name of a ship.

Look at this beauty:

The Morning Claire left Nagoya on 17 June and should be in Portbury by mid-July, unloading all cars with steering wheels on the wrong side ;) and then proceeding to Zeebrugge.
So I guess anyone with an order around July 2021 and/or a VIN around 23600 can hope for a GRY delivery soon.
