I best update the thread now that we've had the car for nearly a month, and my brother hasn't done so yet.

A few days after we collected the car, we were fortunate to be able to drop the car off at our local detailing place (High Caliber Detailing) as they still had some availability before Christmas. We arranged for the car to be protected with Suntek PPF covering the front end (bumper, bonnet, wings, mirrors, a-pilars), side skirts and the rear bumper edge. The rest of the car would be ceramic coated with Titan Coatings 5Year Ceramic. They would need the car for about a week, as they still had quite a few jobs on. Anyway a week later the car was ready, and wow does it now look good and should make cleaning a dream.
