GR86 Red GR86 from Tenerife!

Here’s my gr86 premium red, from Tenerife in the Canary Islands!
I took some at Teide, I was around 2700m above sea level for those!

Ah Tenerife, one of my very favourite places - I've spent many a January/February in and around the Costa Adeje area, escaping the cold UK weather.

Enjoy your car @Ruben . Mount Teide is such a great place to drive up to, especially at night for the light pollution free stargazing!

Yo hit me up and we can hangout I know a couple of friends here that have BRZ’s and 86s as well as another gr86 fella.

Congratulations and welcome! You will have a lot of envy from the members on here 😅 , I imagine that's going to be a very rare sight in Tenerife.

I head out on the 19th, so watch out for a pasty English fella throwing himself in front of your car and screeching like a girl, if you are in the Coasta Adeji area 😉
 
Hi! first of all congrats!

I was wondering... Is there a separate control for the headlight washers? Many japanese cars have seperate controls for window washers and headlight washers... Thanks!

I've just remembered, we all definitely agreed* that the first forum member to take delivery would buy the rest of us a drink.

So I reckon we get as many of us as possible out to Tenerife and meet up here, we might as well grab some dinner whilst we are there. I'm sure @Ruben will be happy to pay for us all. ;)

Looks like a load of us are off to Tenerife, I’m in Adeje end of January , if Manchester airport is not closed due to an inch of snow 😂😂😂

Regrettably @AndyRC I'm not booked for Tenerife this winter as we're holidaying elsewhere, but I've been to Adeje/La Caleta loads of times in January/February.

Guys let me know who’s coming we will def hangout. Also I wanted to post that I didn’t understand why a lot of people out of forum are saying the gas mileage on this car is bad, im getting an avg of 9.5 which is great considering that this car is the best car ever basically.

I'm not surprised re. the economy - the only cars I've owned which were more economical than the published figures were the light ones with larger naturally aspirated engines.
