Got a call from my dealer telling me that mine needs the check. It is booked in on Friday for the 6 month safety check. They now need the car for 90 mins rather than 60 so hopefully no big deal.

This is what annoys me I had a waiting appointment for first year service at 08:30 asked to have recall sorted, they now demand the car for the day?
Mine too and I also had a call from a lady in Milton Keynes who will arrange the booking - wonder if they will give me a Supra to drive for the day??
Hopefully, my 6 month inspection will be booked for the same time.
Main dealer called me today asking to book the car in for the recall. They couldn't tell me exactly what the recall was or what is involved to fix it . Needless to say I didn’t book it in , they can practice on a few others before they get their hands on my car .

Done. As planned. 90 mins including the 6 month safety check. No fault found so no additional work required.

Thanks for posting the link. I checked mine and: "We have identified that your Toyota is subject to a voluntary customer service campaign or outstanding safety recall.This can be rectified at no cost.If you require any further information or wish to make an appointment, please contact your local Toyota Dealer."
Cruise control radar inspection and adjustment if necessary
My annual service is next week so I'll ask them to check it then. Of course, when I booked my service and asked specifically about this safety recall the service assistant said there wasn't one for my car.
*Update*
When I arrived for my service they had picked up on the system that the recall check was due so it was carried out as part of the 1yr service. No issues found.
All in all pretty straight forward and painless, as all recalls should be!

Can't see why. Mine had this done, the exhaust changed and gearbox void bush fitted as well as being washed. It was out within two hours. At RRG Macclesfield.

I have no words I challenge but that’s what they say and I know it will sit all day and be done when someone can be arsed
Dropped mine off for the recall today. Left it because it was either 15 mins to check or a couple of hours to recalibrate. Got a call an hour or so later saying mine was OK and ready to pick up. Nothing volunteered about the process.

I sent a message two weeks ago to Steven Eagell at Milton Keynes regarding this recall, they didn’t bother to reply!

Ended up being told try be done by 1700 this is at half 8. But they done good had the car back before 11am

They probably turn it off as they're fed up with people having a pop about hard accelerating and braking in them.

Used to get collision warning and collision avoidance system errors prio to this update even the TC and all was switched off. not anymore so it seems to be working..
I feel mine is more sensitive but I have been driving in a lot of traffic the last few days. Need to go back to normal usage.

I get these most days. Usually when I'm threading my way through parked cars at low speed in residential areas. Hopefully an update will sort this as in 4 1/2 years with my Volvo, the system has only activated twice (and one of those was needed).

I've found it has made zero difference to how many beeps and brake warnings I get. Still get them pretty often, when negotiating urban roads and street furniture.
Tables, chairs, sofas? Any bookcases?
