Just read something about a recall over on FB

For starters, didn’t know there was a DVLA recall checking service

Looks like mine needs something sorting- no details but the discussion was around radar calibration

Mine is outstanding too even tho it’s out with the dates listed
 
The radar recall, in some cases the adaptive cruise control is not picking up the car in front.
 
Just checked mine and no recalls.
Good to know about that service though for the future (y)
 
Does the date of the recall, 4 March, actually mean anything? As mine has been in for a service and safety check since then - wouldn't this have been done at the same time?
 
Mine has the recall too july 2021 delivery

I’ll just get it done in its first service. I haven’t noticed any problems with it so hopefully it’s just a check over
 
I booked my first service the other day and that's when they mentioned this recall. Mine is an April 21 car.
 
Got it on mine too, September car. Hoping it means I get a bonus recalibration of my radar at my first service next week, having taken the front bumper off myself 🙃
 
I did the recall checker and my car is on it. Sent a message to Richard at RRG Macclesfield. He replied that it is already booked in to be done whilst I'm at RRG next Friday for an exhaust upgrade. :)

My car is chassis 2013 built 30 September 2020.

Rang my dealer about this. Not much information offered though they have a test unit to check and calibrate if needed. Want the car for an hour to two hours. Cannot fit it in until March 28. Mine seems to be working fine as far as I can tell...

Thanks for posting the link. I checked mine and: "We have identified that your Toyota is subject to a voluntary customer service campaign or outstanding safety recall.This can be rectified at no cost.If you require any further information or wish to make an appointment, please contact your local Toyota Dealer."

Cruise control radar inspection and adjustment if necessary


My annual service is next week so I'll ask them to check it then. Of course, when I booked my service and asked specifically about this safety recall the service assistant said there wasn't one for my car. :cautious:

That's the thing. Mine went in for a service a few weeks back, but no mention of the recall and it's saying mine needs it, but when did it appear on the system?
 
This could be interesting on Sunday, as there are a bunch of us going to Cars & Coffee in Chester & supposed to be going out for a drive in to North Wales afterwards. We had all better keep our distances otherwise there could be a very expensive pile up if lots of cars are incorrectly braking & lots of new grille's needed :ROFLMAO:
