Has anyone fitted rally lamps to their Gen 1 GRY yet? I want to get two mounted to the front of the car as a wink to the Group B era. I plan top get them wired to an independent switch rather than on the high beam sample. Honestly more for aesthetics than function. I have been playing around on PhotoShop to how I want it to look. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Here is my ‘22 gr yaris circuit pack that I’ve done a slight rally build to, running 8.5x17” flow formed wheels with falken wildpeak 225/55/17 all terrain tyres
And then built my own bracket and mounting system for the 4 hella valuefit supernova 6 spotlights that run to an oem switch in the cabin

GR Yaris Thread 'Tarmac Rally Build'

I'm converting my GR Yaris in to a true tarmac rally car. So I've been using another forum, but will start posting here also. Bar the welding of the cage, I've completed all the work myself.


This is my latest photo, showing where the car is up to. At the weekend I got the rear differential out ready for my Cusco 2way LSD to go in. I'm waiting on a few parts from Japan to arrive, but I'm very close to its first full shakedown!

The Lazer linear lights under the bumper are what I see most often, but it's a different look and is tied into the full beams. I can't imagine the standalone spotlights being much trouble at all.
 
I have extra pair of 2x Lazer Linear 6's with a mounting kit to GR if anyone is interested. Got it by impulse but not really needing extra lights in GR as have the Linear 18 ILBA already there... and not really energy to fiddle extra cornering lights (that was the initial thought with these)
