Anyone know the procedure on how to change the sensitivity of the radar cruise control function?

I've had a look at the settings, but without success. Just trying to make the system less sensitive.

Even had a look at the manual, but still none the wiser. 🤷‍♂️

It’s on the steering wheel on the right side

Standard is set to 3 you can reduce to 1, 1 is just about ok.

Remember as you approach a slow moving vehicle if you indicate the car won’t slow down as much, giving you time to move out without it slowing you down

What he said!

Thanks!

On the rare occasion I've used the cruise control, it's always been with the radar disabled and I was looking for a +/- button to increase or decrease the settings. :ROFLMAO:

same but then tried the radar style and was pleasantly surprised at ease my vehicle followed one Infront, then paused while indicating to go passed and latch onto next car up ahead, very nice

I like radar cruise around town but it is rubbish on the highway. You set it then follow something new also on radar and they catch up to something slower and slow down too because they are brain dead or scrolling texts or an ap. Then they wake up and pull out into the traffic in front of you and accelerate at a metre per annum per annum because fuel. Etc. Thus on the open road I use basic cruise and happily run up their arses.

I think you have to change the way you think about it to use it, but once you do it’s ok. I use it like cruise so I’m looking for those gaps in the other lane early , the main benefit over normal cruise (for me) is when I’m in lane 2 or 3 and the entire lane slows and I’ve got no where to go. Lane 1 I’ll obviously pull out if someone is going slower.

@Humptydumptyhadabigone Interesting I never use it round town, I suspect maybe different types of towns, (small market towns with plently of parked cars and bends) so I think it would lose it way. You don’t really set radar to follow someone, do you? As soon as they slowing down (I have the speedo up) I’ll be round them in another lane. In that sense I use it like normal cruise
