A quick heads up for anyone interested in a few runs up Prescott Hill climb. https://www.prescotthillclimb.co.uk/event-details/car-club-day-2023
I have secured 10 place's for GR Yaris owners at a multi car club event.
Date is 2nd April 2023.
Last year the event cost £50 with 4 runs on the hill. Extra runs available at cost.
Spectator tickets £15, under 16's free. Camping previous night in orchard £10 per pitch.

I will confirm costs when more details are confirmed by Prescott Hill climb management.

Prescot Hill climb have asked how many we hope to attend and I need to let them know the numbers at the end of the week.

As I'm only a few miles down the road I'll likely come along to watch, but I don't trust myself not to become part of the scenery on the last right-hander
 
I would be interested in this if there are still spots, not far from me.
 
I notice that Pistonheads are doing a Sunday Service there and offering the 4 runs.

Are there any spaces till left with GR Owners Club, is that this forum?? Or the dark side?
 
I've actually just booked direct on the Prescott HC website - we're listed as a club and no issues getting booked in!

Sorry for late up date on the Hill Climb 2nd April.

The following tickets have been allocated – Toyota MK4 have 8 tickets, GR Yaris have 6 tickets and Toyota MR2 have 6 tickets.
The event is a non-competitive hill drive event and all cars must be registered and road legal in order to take part.

As ricky6 has already booked there are 5 places left on a first come first served so head over and book in.

It should be a fab day but sadly I can't attend.

From a Marshall but posted on Pistonheads:

It is untimed and no pace car. Drive as you wish but be sensible - hill can only run until a certain time so anyone having to be recovered will reduce that time for other people.
No crash helmets or flameproof clothing is allowed. Arms & legs should be covered in a closed car and must be covered in an open car.

Cameras should be mounted behind the rear-most passenger.

Cars must be road legal (MOT, tax, insurance) and in roadworthy condition.

Noise will be monitored. Can't remember the exact limit but hillclimbs generally like to be below 102dB.

Towing eyes - up to you. We shouldn't have to use them
