I've seen a few people mention accidentally opening the armrest cover with their elbow - I've not had this, but I am finding that I'm unintentionally selecting Track Mode.
When I'm resting my arm on the console such as waiting to select a gear at traffic lights etc. I will glance at the dash and suddenly it's in Track.
I've found that the button is very sensitive and only needs light pressure to activate - the easiest way to test this is actually to enable Track mode (which needs a 2 second push) and then see how much pressure it takes to disable it again (as that only needs a tap).
The switch seems to activate long before its 'detent' position.
Just wondered if anybody else has had this, or fancies just trying it out?

Sounds like a dodgy button, mine has similar resistance to the rest of the buttons for it to work (radio, stop/start), there is no way I can accidentally turn it on unless my hand was made from lead.

No but have noticed track mode I'm sure takes less time to turn on than it did when I first got it. It felt like a few seconds before but now it's less than a second.

I agree with ZN8, mine you have to hold for a few seconds to engage, and quick press down to disengage.

Yeah, I'm not talking about how long you have to press it for, but how hard - I have to press for 2 seconds (or so) but very light pressure will do it.

Ahhh will check mine and feedback when I pop out next.
I found the easiest way to see how sensitive the switch is, is to turn track on and then see how much pressure is needed to turn it off, as 'off' is instant rather than delayed like 'on'.
