Yeah my dealership rang me today, set up a meeting for half nine so we can be ready to go through the process together. Feel more reassured doing it with someone who has been briefed on the process.

They are literally logging on to the same website you and I can log on to. They won’t have received training on that I’m sure as it’s not their normal process.

You have in your head the options you want so just click through the website.

Not losing owt by going, can use phone to run through at the same time so have two chances incase one crashes.

Got my call at 6:51 this evening to refund my £500 deposit.....I'll be on the web at 10am just like every other punter.....

Seems a bit of a weird way to sell a car this - If I were a 'retailer' I'd be thinking about calling it a day

Still haven’t had my deposit refunded yet. Will chase them up once I, hopefully, place my order

I’ve just dropped the salesman an email to see if he intends to place my order on Wednesday or whether it’s best to return my deposit and I order myself?

I’ve had finance proposals through etc so it all seems genuine, but perhaps the dealers are still unsure what the process is and I’ll get a call on Wednesday to say that he cannot do it?

Has been said before, but I suspect the GR86 is going to be a rather tiny proportion of any Toyota dealers sales…..

I really hope it goes smoothly for you. The GRY online ordering process was a lot easier than having to visit a dealer but that's just me and my dealer aversion.

Seriously, I hope you all get one and I hope there is a cock up and they give you zero percent finance!
