GR Yaris Ordering custom wheels - dilemma on offset.

I suspect i should probably go straight to a good set of coilovers, but i'm tempted to swap to lowering springs first also...

My TEs are on the car now, and it definitely needs some lowering. It looks like a monster truck with the fitment and ride height atm :ROFLMAO:

This is 18x9.5 ET38 TE37 Saga S-Plus with 255/35/18 Potenza Evos - i think i would have preferred a little less poke tbh, probably ET40 or higher would be better.
Yeah, I found when I got the wheel width/offset optimised and the wheels were further out, that makes the factory ride height look too high.

With the standard wheels and no spacers the fact that the wheels were more recessed hid the full extent of the gap between them and the arch when viewed from normal eye height.

9.5j et38 is 9mm more poke than mine. I would invest in some wheel guards as that's going to produce a lot of spray and stone chips down the side of the car.

Why do you say you would prefer ET45?

I'm currently facing the exact same dilemma, trying to decide between ET38 and ET45.

Is ET38 working well for you? Do the wheels or tires rub against any suspension components or the fenders? Did you have to run aggressive negative camber in the front, or were you able to keep it within a normal range?

Someone also suggested running ET38 in the front and ET45 in the rear, but I'm not sure how well that combination would work or look.

What do you think about that setup, now that you've had some experience with ET38?

I'd really appreciate your opinion, especially knowing what you know now. Would you still choose ET38, or would you go with ET45 instead? These wheels are extremely hard to find for sale anywhere in the world.
