GR86 Nice surprise package today! Electric Blue DAR duckbill

I'm mighty tempted to order this ready for when the car arrives. But I have to admit, that I'm actually concerned about boring stuff, like if it will decrease economy or increase wind noise. Must be getting old :D

Used the German brochures part numbers (attached). They have two prices but the only difference seems to be the delivery speed. I went with the cheaper option and it took just over 2 weeks to arrive

So £409 (plus fees) at current exchange rates. Think I'll wait for car to be nearer before ordering but is nice to know there are a few sources now.

did you have to order using part numbers? I can't actually browse by model, to show any body parts.

would be interested in checking price on TRD body kit
 
Mine just arrived. Ordered from japanparts.com (they only have black,red,white)
I'll be wanting some more items from them in the future so I considered it a trial run.

£190 for the spoiler & £65 Shipping to Japan parts.
And hit with £40 VAT, £4 import duty, £12 Parcel force handling fee. before final delivery.
Total £311.

Ordered 21st, delivered on the 9th.
 
Nice, unlike Fensport that cost me £380, ordered 10th May but still not here... Just as well Toyota haven't given me my car yet I guess!
 
Still umming and arring about ordering one. I think it looks pretty good...then I saw another shot of a car without the spoiler and thought it looked equally good. Not sure I want to spend nearly £500 unless I'm absolutely sure.

Will likely be mid October. It’s still sitting in Japan like mine waiting to leave the end of the month.

If that's the case I'm likely going to cancel mine with Fensport next week. Wanted it to arrive in good time to get on the car as soon as it arrives ready for ceramic coating. I shouldn't have to wait 5 months.

Funnily enough this is my dilemma. I, too, am thinking of getting the car detailed and ceramic coated as early as possible. So if I do get a ducktail, I want that on first. But then, I also think I'd like to see the car in the flesh first before deciding if I want one - but that means waiting until October. And then I might not get it coated in time for winter D:!

Nice worry to have, I guess. "Boohoo, I don't know whether to buy a spoiler for my brand new car" :D

Yeah that's why I ordered asap in May as well. Still, without a delivery date for the car I'm not going to do anything about it right now.
 
@PVGR - did you have any issues when you ordered from 86 speed?
I just went to order one. Filling out my address, and get told this:

"Other (Non US)" is the only option in that drop down. So I can't continue.

Sigh. I ****ing hate buggy websites.

Ah yes I think I tried a different browser and worked fine.

Don't spose you remember which one do you?
I've now tried Chrome, Edge, Opera and Firefox and all of them have the same issue. Same on my phone too :/

EDIT: Got around it by entering my country as US and putting a State in. Then clicked continue, that saved the address to my account. Then I was able to amend it from there. However, the total came to £525 with shipping.

On https://handlerparts.de/ using the part number provided by @rdmsport (PJ15618800J1 appears to be the bright blue one), it's much cheaper. However they have a big banner on their site saying that no processing will be taking place from 26/08 - 07/09 due to staff shortages :/

Thanks but it's okay. I just went and ordered from the German place in the end as it worked out about 100 quid cheaper (well, until it arrives and I have to pay the inevitable customs fees). Even accounting for their 2 week break I guess it will still arrive before the car.

Ha! As predicted. The order from the German site went through on Wednesday, and it's coming via UPS, so I went online to pay the import fees:
Price for the part/delivery - £400
Import fees - £89!!!!!

Almost a quarter of the price of the item again, and it's only coming from Germany.
Still, at least we get blue passports now :/

Not sure how @rdmsport got away with much lower fees. I chose the cheapest option, too.
