GR Yaris New Pricing

I wonder if this will have an effect on used prices. Theoretically it should but I've noticed the last couple of weeks a load more GR's on autotrader and Ebay so the prices have come down circa 5%.

I was thinking about this for insurance (aware we can’t actually physically get a new car if written off) but come renewal should I be amending the value based off this?

Good spot @GAR37 (y)

The price list thread has been updated.

Makes no difference what the new car price is if they are stopping production

What about those with cars on order, is the original price at time of order still valid? - It seemed to be the opinion on the other side that it was

If so what the point of increasing the prices if no more are being made after the current allocation?

!!!Original price at time of order!!!

What you have on paper counts.

Price increase applies to cancelled orders that are reallocated to those on waiting list.

If you have already ordered a car you should only be paying what ever the price was then.

Putting a business head on, if there are unsold cars / cancellations then you would have to pay the new price. It will also push up the price of second hand cars that dealers have , cars that have been purchased on finance deals over 1 to 3.5 years.

Hats off to Toyota for building this car at a loss. But they now have a very interested following. "what's coming next" . As we've all seen, GR badges going on so many Toyota models.

Just noticed prices have been updated today on Toyota website. £36,530.00 now is the list price for a Scarlet Red circuit pack. Price was £34400 last year.
Just noticed new price in configurator today is £37450 for a scarlet circuit pack. That's what people will have to pay now for cancellations.

Still seeing £36,530.00 on the Toyota websitem where do you see the higher price?

It's saved on the configurator on my account. Only changed price today from £36530 E4F0D73A-608E-4F42-A11F-C3D3A460BDF3.webp

If you configure on website and save quote to my Toyota and view in your account it displays the new price.

Interesting, thanks. Suppose it's a moot point as they'll probably end production soon.

I was offered a white one at £36+k, cancelled order.

I'll stick to my red one that is £34k and some change :D Glad I managed to pick up an order last month at £34k though, these £37k prices are nuts!

It’s given that price for me as well but only when saved, for a pearl white. It’s £920 more than the price on the website so almost as if the paint option has been charged twice (as it is £920 more than the list price on the Toyota website of £36,530).

All academic now anyway I guess!

Does seem very odd that they keep increasing the price on the website. Why not just pull the configurator altogether.

Shows Toyota UK are in the dark as much as us.

It’s inline with the whole Toyota range. Yes Toyota UK are in the dark like us and from what I’ve seen we seem to find out more than the dealers get told.
