My concern is he'll blame everything else but himself. Slag the car off and move on like so many influencers do. He's only doing for the clicks. Perhaps it's karma for an interview he did a few days ago saying he'd be faster round the ring than Lewis and close to Max. That's a dangerous level of delusion, especially when doing TF days with other people. Driving around the same track lots great but the level actual race drivers have is another level. Plus he's no Sabine..

I've watched his videos since the beginning and he's never come across as that type of person to do that.

Yep F1 and WRC drivers are in general their own breed, kind of difficult to compare against amateur drivers, no matter how potent you might be.
Personal experience is that the more you do something, the more you understand how much room there is to improve and how little do you actually know.
Misha seems to be quite down to earth fellow, at least he has been quite open of his doings.
They should do few laps against Lewis with same machinery if that's the talk. Could be a fun episode for sure!
ps. would like it was just bad conditions vs. mechanical failure on car, would be easier to cope with.

That's from before the crash. Peter Greaves (Petrol Ped) and Joe Achilles do a podcast together that they recorded after the crash.
Its interesting that Misha says the stock brakes are crap and not to use them on track. I’ve not done any track driving before, but I’ve not heard complaints of the brakes before on other videos (just regular cars not track toys).

Yes but will you be hitting the same speeds, consistently… they are probs ‘fine’ for us.
The stock brake pads are pretty crap, cooked the stock pads back in Jan just driving around local back roads in the wet. The pad compand is pretty spongy too
Swapped pads and fluids and it's workable on track as long as you take breaks, might be fine on stock brakes if it's your first track days.
Your solution is to drive slower. If I'm going to a track, I don't want to drive slower.
My point is that expenditure on better brakes is not essential. Of course, if you are chasing a lap time, there are a million things you can do to the car, but just buy a Porsche instead
If you're just going to potter around as if you're going to the shops, then obviously no changes are essential, but that's not really what one wants from a track day.
I think you're missing the point. You can push the engine hard and take corners hard, and the car will perform to it's limits and be great fun. You can also push the brakes to their limits in the same way, but before long they will start to fail, and you'll have to back-off. You might be able to fix that just with some more suitable brake pads, which are consumables anyway.Of course, if you are chasing a lap time, there are a million things you can do to the car, but just buy a Porsche instead
