GR86 My Red GR86 - East Midlands

Yeah, by the time I got to Bicester Heritage at 9am it was already filthy again let alone at Gaydon at 10.45am :ROFLMAO:

Was good to have a mooch around a few more though opposite when we arrived

Now on his 4th tank as approaching 800 miles - and the average is 32mpg. Really can't wait to get higher up the rev range!

Finding Tesco 99 around here has been a mission as it's constantly unavailable, but I'm more than happy with the relatively new 99 Esso stuff as it's not 97 any more. Runs well on it anyway and it's E5 rather than E10 of momentum.

Gratuitous garage shot:

I believe it is actually zero ethanol apart from some areas in the south west and wales.

Yup - kinda weird but it's fine here in the midlands.

When it gets to 1000 miles I'll contact the dealers to get the oil done and the recall stuff (y)

I've been using shell V power, but I think I'm going to swap to Momentum, the Vpower is so expensive and I can't imagine it makes any/much difference.

Shell v power in the Midlands in notorious for being "for want of a better word" watered-down and not proper 99 so I tend to stay clear. Especially as it's so expensive

Ive ran my Focus RS virtually constantly on momentum and it's been as good as gold. It's just scarce around here just now

Pictures showing the space saver on and clearing calipers:

Centre bore was spot on at 56.1mm:

Plenty of caliper clearance:

Standard nuts fit the steelie fine:

Not sure on this "low grip" setup though:

If anyone has a BMW trolley jack block - that works as well as the Toyota type:

Apologies if it's already been posted, have you seen this month's Octane magazine? You may enjoy the "month in pictures" section if not :)

April. 911 on the cover. It appeared on Readly a few days ago so should be in shops now.

Forgot to put this on after Christmas..

The OH got me this awesome custom artwork from PopBangColour for Christmas;

And as I spied her chatting to the artist at a car meet before Christmas, I thought I'd surprise her and get one done of her car and the dogs;

Then last week we got these 3 mugs in the post with both cars printed on them!
