Long time member first time poster regarding my Yaris...
I've met a few of you on here from the other forum.
Always popped in now and then, have always wanted to post just always been busy.
Have found some invaluable info and knowledge from the forum and members.
So I've had my Yaris coming up next March 2 years.... Since I bought the Car it's been nothing but a love affair.
A few months after prwchasint sold my m2 comp and M5 comp as I just did not get the thrill or joy I did from the Yaris.
I hadn't really taken to trackdays in my Yaris... I got invited to a YouTubers video which he wanted to drag race my Yaris against my friends modified RAV4 GT4 and Celica GT4..
Drag racing has nor never will be my thing... The car with 1500miles didn't miss a beat im sure I got a 4.5 which isn't too bad. I can't even remember.
Anyways this lead to a trackday at castle coombe organised by the youtuber... It did well... It was the most reliable car on the trackday... Ended up doing 66 laps and the tyres and pads held upll well.
The bug was instilled.
I then did a trackday at Cadwell and it fully set me off.
Now while I sent my car for a service my friend asked would I like to come to the ring. I replied my GR is gone for service, wait a week and I'll come.
His response you drive my GR or M6 and just come.. offer of a GR Yaris or M6 at the ring... Nerves tingling I said yes.
So to the ring we went in his GR...
I did a few laps in his GR which had an eventuri intake and a few mods. I fell in love with the GR even more... The Ring is a scary place .. I saw many an accident on those opening weekend laps...
But the Yaris was unbelievable....even at vmax managed to keep up with the pack.. but it sure does drink...at vmax...
Personal moment we collectively laugh at is a video.. where I'm doing 146/7 then my friend in an SL overtakes at around 160 to be flown past by my friend in his GT3 rs at around 185 we reckon...

Anyways long story a bit shorter after this I got hooked to the ring and ended up going atleast once a month in my Yaris and my other cars... and a few other cars too boot
I think this year I ended up doing 120 laps plus in my Yaris alone..
I said I'd do a lap or two
I've never seen a car take the abuse with such ease and aplomb as this GR.... the only thing it consumed was 1 set of tyres, 3 sets of front pads , and many fluid changes ....
Heres 1 or 2 of my car I'll uploads some later and tell you some more adventures I have been on in my GR.
I love my Yaris to the point if I had to pick 1 car rest of my life it would be the Yaris... It's not for everyone .. but for me it's amazing...
I use the car in any condition as much as I can..
Look forward to meeting some of you in the future ....
I just covered 4000 miles through Europe last month in the GRY.. I look forward to testing out my gr86 along the same lines...
I have shared my car with a few people to show them the Yaris and all have been impressed with it
