Great insight. This is an issue for many, it's the case of the things you own ending up owning and limiting you.... Which begs the question, why bother owning them...
So don't own it, instead use it! If something happens there is insurance, it's not like there are only 3 of them ever made, of which one in a museum and the other wrecked...
Welcome back and congrats on the purchase of a scratched, chipped, unperfect yet perfectly fine second hand car
Time for a new report
So the car has slowly but surely transitioned to weekend/fun car as my other car has now got 5 seats once more and with a slight change in my work contract I can use any car for business, previously limited to a car that is under 7 years old.
As such the MPG will I expect drop a tad as the journey type becomes solely fun driving or driving holiday.
The car hasn't really been used a great deal due to motorcycle season being here and a few promises I made to myself regarding more riding. It been good to have more breaks from it as its just makes it more special when you drive it. I mean today a guy on the opposite side of the road fully wound down his windows and stuck his entire arm out with a big thumbs up for the car
Hoping to book a track day or 2 for myself in car (undecided if Yaris or not) this year, so I might see how the Yaris goes on a bigger track than Three Sisters
I need to discuss with my dealership regarding maybe a change to the service plan (due to reduced mileage) or I might just service at same planned months which will mean at less mileage. which might be needed if I do track the car anyway

I have enjoyed the ownership and actually really enjoyed the social aspect of the car, especially this forum.
I’m building a camper with the money I got from the sale and I plan to spend more time seeing new things and meeting new people on my journeys.
If I see a GR I’ll be sure to give you a flash

Good decision, collecting experiences is much more fulfilling then collecting stuff as many tend to do - stuff you own ends up owning you.

Thanks all, so in the spirit of doing more I took my trusty fiesta to the track, Cadwell. I spoke with two GR owners about the car, great to see them on track and as always super friendly.

Measured the mileage on hot lap, car showed 43ltr/100km so tank would last 116.2km. Not ideal Autobahn cruiser for longer distances really...
