GR86 Moving to/from a GR Supra? My thoughts...

Loud and clear fellas - was just thinking this the other day.
And I then got to thinking that from what I remember there’s a fair few gen-X-ers on here (myself included) and was wondering if there’s any connection…
Obviously there’s still an appeal to younger folk as well, but the old-school concept of the 86 really gets me in the gut, in a way that a Supra, FL5 CTR or current 911 just can’t. It’s so close to early ‘80s / ‘90s hero car spec. (Integrale / m3 etc.) and if I really stretch my imagination I think I can go further back and make a not completely ridiculous link to full 70’s fantasy 2.7RS or 246 Dino..?
If I’m wrong I don’t wanna be right🤘
