GR Yaris Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2

Cup2 was ok on short track yesterday - drove them in with 5 gentle laps. Used 2.2 hot in front and then needed to up also rears to 2.2 as they didn't get that much heat.
Car is ok in fast corners, in slow corners in understeers. 1.1s faster than NS2R on same track.
Likely if understeer was dialed down would be much faster, maybe 0.5-1s.

Swapped the fronts to rears today, fronts seem to wear out from the mid part most.
No noted inside shoulder wear as with PS4S

Front left (took most of the beating)

To help the middle shoulder you could try more camber or try to avoid understeer going into corners. Otherwise the look really good.👍🏻

Thanks for the insight! Any concerns regarding pressures to tyre wear? from my point of view sides were not much scrubbed but from middle part the tire was worn. Ok to keep hot pressures as is (2.2bar)? Maybe the added caster would help in understeer but due to the steering issue not going there yet.

The middle part always get scrubbed/worn half when you get some speed on track. Looks more or less the same on all tires that are close to "streettires" in pattern.
Preassure looks spot on.👌🏻

I tried (a lot) more and less caster, diffrence is not noticeable and I ended up with just a bit more caster than stock in the end.

Yes friend did a fast session with his GT Porsche that had alignment set for track use and the wear was more or less similar with Dunlops, so it seems to be quite okeyish. The track we did has a horrific last right bender lasting 8s(!) so its really though for any setup. I believe on faster track the setup will likely be just fine. So not necessary terminal understeer issue overall. I feel on fast corners my setup is actually quite ok as prefer neutral for fast corners etc
