Thought I’d share my drama so you don’t have to. Your interior map lights, if left on, never turn off. Went to start my car for the first time in two weeks today and no charge whatsoever. As in nada. Wife has a PHEV so no easy access to battery in that to attach jump leads. Fished out an old usb power bank that was flat too but did manage to get the car started after 3 hours of USB charging. Don’t be that guy. Don’t be me! Don’t leave your map lights on!

Well done with the USB charging! The standard GR86 battery is woefully underpowered (mine is 42Ah), but is just adequate for a regularly driven car. I would think a couple of days with map light on might have run it down, never mind two weeks. We've all done something similar though. I've been thinking for some time of changing the battery. I replaced with a 65Ah one in my previous GT86 - but that had a power hungry alarm.

I almost found this out the other day. I turned it on while looking for something and never turned it off. Luckily someone calling to the house spotted I had left it on only a short time later.

I discovered this a couple of Winters ago when I changed the OEM interior lights for Ice Blue LEDs - I arrived home after a trip to the shops and thought "Why is my interior lit up?". Have never made the same mistake. That said, I don't remember the last time I drove the car in the dark and actually used the interior lights ...
