Hi,
I am undecided which route to go down between HKS and Litchfield Nitron. Has any one driven both setups and can compare performance and comfort when commuting.
My car will only be used on roads and maybe a track day so not looking for super aggressive race settings, more comfort and confidence.

Go with the Eibach Pro spring kit, perfect for road.
Lee1563, I have been swaying between the spring kits and full suspension, Have heard that the lowering springs are pretty harsh on the road compared to stock. still undecided to be fair.

I think you will find that they are a nice compromise to be honest!

Or go middle of the road. BC coilovers are 1000. Allow you to adjust damping, heights, get the correct bump and droop travel and allow you to cornerwight the car. I've been very impressed with the road composure on stiffness' up to 23/30

I have been looking at String Theory lowering springs too, good to know about BC!

Worth trying the Eibach springs first and see what you think.

Hi Dean, does this transom the car? Better on road and track? I have spoken to Litchfield today and they rave about there Nitron set up. But tbh I’m thinking as long as I can get it set up and corner weighted, that should be the best upgrade for more “progress” I could do.

I'm very happy with it. It's not as drastically different as you'd think but there is clear benefit in being stiffer and lower. I have the solid top mounts too so I'm not sure how much that is changing the steering as it is instant and no play now. It does take more effort and input on a bumpy road but I like that.

Hi all I had fitted the full Lichfield suspension set up and are very happy. It’s a bit hard for every but do not use the car every day. But they are adjustable so do not have them to hard then. I had the set up for good fun on B roads and it handles very well much better than standard. Have done 6 track days so far and very settled and steady on the track.

Sorry to bump this but the more and more I look at what to do with the ride height and corner weighting, the more I'm convinced BC gives the best bang for your bucks. Very tempted!

I don't have any experience of BC's on a GRY (still waiting delivery) but I had a set on my Evo V1 a few years back and wasn't terribly impressed. I had them on for about a year then swopped over to KW's and the difference was night and day. The ride quality, effective range of adjustment and bump/rebound control was leagues ahead.
