Jeez, you’d really have to love it to be buying something on finance, 8.9% !!
And that’s quite competitive compared to other manufacturers!Jeez, you’d really have to love it to be buying something on finance, 8.9% !!
I'd imagine at 8.9% they'll have the same problem shifting them as the 86. Makes you realise how good the original 0% deal actually was.
The rate has killed it for me I’ve had one ticked the box I’d rather pick up a used M2 Comp for similar money I thinkAnd that’s quite competitive compared to other manufacturers!
Don't think they were built in batches of colours. Watching the video of Motomachi you can see lots of different colours of GRY being assembled, as well as both left and right hand drive cars going through together.I seem to remember that they were seemingly built in batches of colours. I wonder if all these last cars are white.
When I rang them up the only options were the base white or the red.I seem to remember that they were seemingly built in batches of colours. I wonder if all these last cars are white.
Fair point, but UK deliveries certainly seemed to make it appear that way.Don't think they were built in batches of colours. Watching the video of Motomachi you can see lots of different colours of GRY being assembled, as well as both left and right hand drive cars going through together.
Agile manufacturing using JIT principles means they don't have to produce identical cars together.
I wonder if they’ll be anymore towards the end of the year. I’d be keen to get one but I’m not on the list![]()
Sounds doubtful they'll be more widely available then, oh well I'll go back to kicking myself for selling mine. Though if they sell the GR corrolla here I'll be first in the queue. This is it for this year - whatever happens they need to be registered by December 15th, presumably giving them a bit of wiggle room because of XMAS.
Guessing they are to be registered to sweep up final cars, boost overall UK registrations and possibly spend the C02 in this years stats.
If more happen next year, it'll be a Mk2 with minor revisions and more safety systems and/or a special edition variant. It's also possible they stop selling GR Yaris in the UK and bring in a few GR Corollas instead.
Oh, they’ll find enough takers from the extensive wait list, no trouble, but there are surely many people (me) that either got lucky with a cancelled order a while ago or have bought used. Even if 1 - 2% bite, that will probably do the trick of finding enough buyers.I wouldn't be surprised if there are quite a few people who decide against it now. It's been a long time since the waiting list closed, so people have probably moved on and got something else or just bought a used one. Though apparently the waiting list is very healthy.
I would have took one too, but like you sadly i'm not on the list.I wonder if they’ll be anymore towards the end of the year. I’d be keen to get one but I’m not on the list![]()
Do you know if at list or inflated prices? For those of you that are in the market for a brand new GR Yaris. Listers of Grantham have two, both pre-registered, one in pearl white and the other is black. They also have a used one in white and I believe the mileage is around 5500. I was looking for one myself but currently can't justify 2 GR's in the garage! If you're interested, call 01476575555 and ask for Ryan.
Inflated I'm afraid.Do you know if at list or inflated prices?
Yeap. As of January this year I was number 9476 on said list. I doubt very much they won't be able to shift them.Oh, they’ll find enough takers from the extensive wait list, no trouble, but there are surely many people (me) that either got lucky with a cancelled order a while ago or have bought used.
