no easy choice if you need to do lot of cold starts. I'd opt for 40Ah LiFePo4.
Currently using 20Ah LiFePo4 but starting car usually from warm garage (i.e. not sub zero 'C).
I ordered from here, but a little brother version to this. they do not seem to have 20Ah variant in stock?

issue with LiFePo4 is that it doesn't take charge when below 0'C though not sure if that smart BCM can warm up the battery once getting moving.

guess they're ok too. no first hand experience but guess some on the forum are using them. My budget wasn't that high so chose a moderate priced item that seemed to be ok quality.Thank you for your suggestions.

How long have you been driving with that 20ah battery? How is it holding up?
Have you left your car in a garage for a few weeks without charging? Could it be started?
I'm just wondering if I'd choose the 40ah version then how long the car can sit without having starting issues.

Have used it for 2 years or so - no issues.
longest time car has been without use has been maybe 2-3wks? but I do drive it usually daily (not that long drivers though).

I've had them since day 1. I'm very happy with them.
Before I had a power thief via the OBD port, the battery lasted 3 weeks without charging.
If I had to choose, I would pick the 60AH version, so its 100% equivalent to the stock battery. the 60 is just a tiny but heavier than the 40 AH

I discussed it with the Toyota workshop and the manufacturer themselves. They both said "Just do it!"
ok, seems legit. but we still dont know if there is a way to reset battery data or if our gr works without ibs.
despite the fact that I wont buy a lithium battery soon, I would like to know if the gr has ibs.
must be if I look at the ECU and all the maps it has....
grrrrr.....1200€ is way tooo much.....but this battery looks very very nice and seems well engineered... but I need money for a new catback

I sincerely hope my GR hasn’t got IBS! Although I believe most fuels are gluten and dairy free these days

The CA Batteries item is over half the price and I feel its quality item but it of course depends what you are willing to pay for.
Zero issues here. Of course I don't live in Yakutsk Oblast and start usually the car from a warm garage but on the other hand not that far off.
But I'd recommend to check the functional products that are reasonable priced espec if you need to take finances into account.
