GR Yaris Light 9x18 rims suggestion

Errmm, won't anything 8" wide and 18" rim take the original tyres?! Or 8.5" at a stretch, ho ho.

I wouldn't recommend putting 225 on a 8.5 though, think I kerbed one of my SL01s due to this :( I now have 245s and the tyre nicely protrudes from the rim a bit.

Thanks for sharing your experience.. particularly the kerbing the 8" tyres... ;)

The brand name might be a bit of a stretch for a wheel with that weight. 😅😁

Slightly under. 4 are less than 1 OEM wheel so I can live with 1kg.

These are ausm Ruhrpott, from Essen to be precisely. Good quality great service. These guys, about 20 of them, know their doing.

BTW. 7.9 kg for 18" and 8.8 kg for 19"
9x18 only as topic sais ;)

I was answering the question of KimmE_GR about the weight of the wheels.
Yeah, no problem.....maybe I choose 9,5x18 if I find nothing suitable, but 9x18 is the widest size where I can bring the papers of the OZ Ultrealeggera rims as comparison..thats why I would like to stay at 9" wide. These OZ become more and more interresting :(

Maybe I need to ask another TÜV if they can legalize the wedssport....they have all I want...except colour and price :(

I end up in using protrack one 9,5x18 et45....9.4 kg so 1kg heavier than stock...but ok
I didnt find any light 9x18 with stock et :(
Will post some pics when they are under the car. Thx for help guys

With 9,5x18“ ET45 you can max. run roughly -2.0 degree camber.
Otherwise the wheel/tire touches your suspension.
That‘s why i got different top mounts to increase camber with ET45.

I orderd 3, 5 and 7mm spacers to test....suspension is still stock. The guy that sells the protrack sais that will fit without. We will see.
Suspension maybe comes next year. But 2 degree camber sounds like enough for road use

Btw is it possible to fit that top mount to stock suspension? To get camber adjustment with stock suspension?

Once you get used to -3 degree, you‘ll never want to go back to less.
Going back to -2 makes the car feel really dull.

But didnt you say in one of your vids with 9,5x18 weds and 265 tyres that it is too close with -3 and -2 should be ok. And now its close with 255 and -2? I thought a smaller tyre would help in this case.
Is it just the front? Must be, you wont drive -3 camber at the rear...

These rims should be the same size than your 9,5x18 weds....
What camber is stock without lowering? And is camber adjustment possible with stock suspension? Do the top mounts fit to the stock suspension?

It‘s not only the size of the wheel, it‘s the Offset.
Yes. Just the front.

If you go for 255‘s Semis, they‘re wider than most 265‘s street tires. So that didn‘t help at all. 😁

Yes. -2 and 255‘s works. It‘s close, but it works.
-3 rubs or barely don‘t, depends on actual tire width.

Stock camber is different on every car. Haven‘t measured two cars that had the sams camber stock.
Camber is possible to adjust, with camber bolts. Another one of my videos. 😉

The top mounts should also fit stock suspension, yes.

Btw: Toyota sais stock camber is 1.38 +- 0.75 degree negative. So -2 is almost stock camber :p
Who knows the other numbers?

Can you move the shock position with other top mounts? Didnt get what you mean exactly.
I ordered some camber bolts to test what is possible.
