Haha it's so true, i wish the car had auto dimming wing mirrors, as you can have your retinas burned out by the laser beams reflecting off your wing mirrors too. Sports car problems.

I used to use the foglights to signal thanks in the GT, as I know being flashed by xenons is uncomfortable. That's the only time I miss not having them in the GR.

I tend to flash my hazards once, flashing high beam is just a bit much when the cars are bright LEDs. Thanks but no thanks...

While the spoiler helps with most of the headlight blinding while sitting in traffic, the side mirrors do reflect a lot if there is a tall SUV or van beside you

Driving an Elise in the dark is horrible - you’re so low that you’re blinded by half of the opposing vehicle’s headlamps, even on dip beam. Coupled with that, the dip beam on the Lotus is so awful, you can’t see much yourself!

The GR86 has brilliant headlamps in comparison!

Glad it's not just me. The car has great lights but my eyeballs feel completely zapped after a long journey at night. Not sure to what extent headlight output is regulated, but it feels dangerous at times when you are passing an SUV and have no idea what is in front of you.

I think it's a arm race... Older sports car really suffer here

In my S660, I sit even lower and get blinded more often but the dipped beams are brighter which compensate quite a bit

The GT86 and S2000 in the dark with the old school candle headlights, I can't see anything...

I've had to buy some of those yellow tinted night driving glasses. Always forget to put them on of course
