Le Mans 2022 11th/12th June

Had posted on the other forum, about a potential meet up/journey down etc. Now that UK aren't restricted to access France, seemed an ideal time to post on here.
I'm planning to stay onsite in a secure campsite (showers, food, bar and allocated camping spot) affiliated with Pistonheads. When booking become live can post more details.

Just booked a Eurotunnel on Thursday night. Will stay in a hotel near Calais for long enjoyable drive (off motorway) to Le Mans on Friday. Return booked a ferry back from Caen to Portsmouth on Sunday late afternoon, but there are many ways from UK in and out of France.

Been many times before, but this one is a 1st with 14 year old son.

Not much interest on this forum at present. I’ll continue posting on both forums and hope to meet up with a few either en route or there.
 
Sounds like a fab plan. I think for a lot of us, we are trying to work out what we can do and what we can fit in. Would love to go back to Le Mans. Last time I went was 2003! However, been trying to get to Germany to meet my German and Dutch friends now for two years, so guessing that is more likely as just maybe, this year I can do it and use my Eurotunnel booking I made in 2020!

Cheers. Yes I get it. Went skiing in Switzerland a couple of weeks ago, felt great just to be back in mainland Europe.
 
Booked the pistonheads site. Limited room as bookings have rolled over from the last 2 years.
