Quick question. I do have a 2023 2.0. I'm not sure about all the packages 'cause I didn't configure the car originally, but doesn't have the electonics/assists package (parking sensors, adaptive cruise) but comes with red brembo caliper, suspension will switch settings between sport and normal, etc, and has the higher spec multimedia system (larger jog with touchpad + larger screen).
I got the car in July, done about 8k miles so far – all good.
Out of curiosity I wanted to try launch control. I checked what it says on the manual, what is shown in videos online, but I am unable to get the little flag.
I know people say is temperamental, so I tried in multiple conditions, engine well warm, etc. but it never happens. I get (briefly) the car to rev slightly agains the locked wheels.
Is it possible that some more base 2.0 don't have launch control?
I mean, I'll live without it... but at least I can stop getting the bug and waste time trying every once in a while
